Once we file a claim, a denial by your insurance company becomes the patient's responsibility to contact their insurance company to rectify the denial. These are the companies we presently contract with. Under these contracts we are obligated to collect patients’ co-payments, deductibles or any non-covered services at the time of your visit. We also will file an insurance claim only twice over a 30 day period. If the claim is not paid by your insurance company, it becomes your responsibility to pay it or see that it gets paid to keep your account in good standing. For patients with other types of insurance plans, as a courtesy, we will be happy to file your claim electronically for you, but we do expect payment for our services at the time of your visit. Any reimbursement by your insurance then will go directly to you.
